Step-by-step guide to scan yourself with Force HT scanning app.
Before you start
Have a friend to assist you
The person being scanned cannot scan themselves. It is necessary to have someone conduct the scan.
Have enough space
This allows the assistant enough space to walk around the person being scanned.
Ensure adequate lighting
Ensure the room is well-lit, with light evenly distributed across the area.
Step 1: Walk one lap around the person while recording
After opening the app, adjust the camera distance according to the grid and press Record. Walk around the person you are scanning until the progress bar turns blue. Keep as steady as possible.
Step 2: Walk another lap, now with focus on the top of the head
When the first step is complete, tilt the camera so that the crown of the person is visible. Now, go around once again to scan the top of the head. When you are done, tilt the camera so the bottom of the face and chin get scanned as well.
Step 3: Process and review the scan
Press the Stop button when you are finished recording and wait for the scan to process. Review your scan to make sure that you are satisfied with the results. To redo the scan, press Restart.
Step 4: Take pictures
Take up to 5 pictures to accompany the 3D-scan. Take pictures from the front, back, both sides and the top. Press Continue when you are done.
Step 5: Fill out the form and upload the scan
Fill out the information form and upload the files. You have now successfully created a scan and uploaded it for use by your clinic in Clinic Platform.
